CARPOLY ALKYD ENAMEL PRIMER (IRON RED)

Applications:

Anti‑rust primer for metal surfaces—steel doors, window frames, railings, and machinery. Base coat under CARPOLY Fast Dry Alkyd Enamel Paint.

Features:

• Good rust resistance – mild corrosive environments.
• Strong adhesion – prevents peeling and cracking.
• Smooth, dense film – prepares surface for high‑gloss finish.
• Fast drying – touch dry in 20 minutes.
• Oil‑based – durable, solvent‑borne.
• Iron red – traditional anti‑rust colour.

Sizes:

1kg, 3kg, 20kg – from touch‑ups to large commercial projects.

Coverage:

Approx. 10–12m²/kg per coat. 1-2 coats recommended.

Usage:

· Surface clean, rust‑free, sanded.
· Stir well. Thin with 40% IG012GS thinner.
· Apply one to two coats by brush or spray. Allow 2 hours before topcoating.
· Topcoat with CARPOLY Fast Dry Alkyd Enamel Paint

 Notes:

· Primer only – must be overcoated.
· Use dedicated thinner – do not use water.
· Ventilation required.
