CARPOLY ODORLESS INTERIOR PRIMER (WHITE)

Applications:

Water‑based interior primer for plasterboard, plaster, and previously painted surfaces. Ideal for new builds, renovations, and colour changes where strong adhesion and alkali resistance are essential.

Features:

• Alkali‑resistant – seals alkaline substrates, prevents efflorescence and topcoat failure.
• Strong adhesion – creates a stable base for topcoats; improves paint bond.
• Low odour & low VOC – water‑based, safe for occupied spaces.
• White finish – enhances topcoat colour accuracy.

Sizes:

1.3kg, 5kg, 20kg – from touch‑ups to whole‑house coverage.

Coverage:

Approx. 8–10m² /kg per coat. One coat typical.

Usage:

· Surface preparation – clean, dry, dust‑free. Sand and repair defects.
· Stir thoroughly. Thin with clean water up to 10% if required.
· Apply one coat by roller, brush, or spray. Allow 2–4 hours drying before topcoating.
· Topcoat – follow with two coats of CARPOLY interior paint.

Notes:

· Do not use as a topcoat – primer only.
· Prime new plaster/plasterboard – prevents uneven absorption and efflorescence.
· Deep colour changes – a coat of primer ensures true topcoat colour with fewer coats
