CARPOLY ACRYLIC POLYURETHANE TOPCOAT (RED – PANTONE 485C)

Applications:

Industrial topcoat for steel structures, bridges, storage tanks, pipelines, and high‑end architectural metalwork. Designed for outdoor exposure and corrosion protection systems.

Features:

• Weather resistant – UV stable; resists fading, chalking, and degradation.
• Chemical resistant – withstands oils, solvents, and mild acids.
• Hard, durable finish – high gloss; maintains appearance over time.
• Two‑pack polyurethane – base + hardener; cures to a tough film.
• Oil‑based – solvent‑borne for long‑term durability.
• Fixed colour – PANTONE 485C red; not tintable on site.

Size:

20kg (16L) – professional pack for industrial and commercial projects.

Coverage:

Approx. 8.26 m²/kg (at 40 μm Dry Film Thickness). Two coats recommended.

Usage:

· Mix ratio – base (14‑MT003) : hardener (14‑MT004) = 5 : 1 by weight.
· Thin – add 10–15% polyurethane thinner (14‑MT006). Stir thoroughly.
· Apply – two to three coats by brush or spray over cured epoxy primer.
· Pot life – use within 4–8 hours after mixing.
· Drying – allow adequate drying between coats.

Notes:

· Must be overcoated on epoxy primer – do not apply directly to bare metal.
· Use dedicated thinner – 14‑MT006; do not use water or other thinners.
· Accurate mixing essential – incorrect ratio affects curing and performance.
· Fixed colour – cannot be adjusted on site.
· Ensure ventilation – solvent‑based product.
