Applications:

Hardener for use with 14‑MT001 Thick Type Epoxy Primer. Essential for steel structures, bridges, storage tanks, and pipelines requiring heavy‑duty corrosion protection.

Features:

• Two‑pack epoxy – designed for 14‑MT001 primer; creates durable, chemical‑resistant film.
• Fixed mix ratio – base:hardener = 24.5 : 2.5 by weight; no complicated calculations.
• Excellent water & chemical resistance – cured fill withstands harsh environments.
• Tolerant to rust – compatible with high‑pressure water wash surface preparation.
• Oil‑based – solvent‑borne for long‑term performance.
• Colour matched – pre‑mixed system; colour fixed, not tintable on site.

Usage:

· Mix ratio – combine 24.5 parts 14‑MT001 base with 2.5 parts hardener by weight.
· Stir thoroughly – ensure complete mixing for uniform curing.
· Thin – add 10–15% 14‑MT005 epoxy thinner if required.
· Apply – by brush or spray; two to three coats recommended.
· Pot life – use within 4–8 hours after mixing.

Notes:

· For use with 14‑MT001 only – do not use with other primers.
· Accurate mixing essential – incorrect ratio affects curing and performance.
· Use dedicated 14‑MT005 thinner – do not use water or other thinners.
· Ensure ventilation – solvent‑based product.
