Applications:
Timber, MDF, particle board, and fibreboard - ideal for cabinets, furniture assembly, shelving, and general indoor joinery. May be used for thin sheet metal (≤0.6mm) with pre-drilled pilot holes. Not for light gauge steel framing.
Features:
- Hex flange head - integral flange distributes pressure; reduces surface damage and warping.
- Slotted drive - suitable for manual or low-speed power tools; not recommended for high-torque applications (prone to cam-out).
- Needle point - forms threads by displacing material; no cutting edge (not self-drilling).
- Coarse thread - smooth chip clearance; fast driving in timber and engineered wood.
- Two finish options - Yellow Zinc (YZ) offers slightly better corrosion resistance; Zinc (ZC) is a standard silver finish for indoor use.
Size:
8G-15x32mm – the 32mm length suits most standard timber and board fixing applications.
